Job Description
The Housekeeping Associate (Room Attendant) is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, comfort, and presentation of guest rooms and assigned areas. The role requires exceptional attention to detail, efficiency, professionalism, and a strong commitment to delivering an outstanding guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and prepare guest rooms, bathrooms, and assigned areas according to established hotel standards.
- Make beds, change linens, replace towels, and replenish guest room amenities and supplies.
- Dust, vacuum, mop, and sanitize surfaces, fixtures, and other areas as required.
- Inspect guest rooms thoroughly to ensure cleanliness, proper arrangement, and completeness of amenities.
- Report maintenance concerns, damaged items, and lost and found items to the appropriate department.
- Respond courteously and professionally to guest requests and inquiries.
- Follow housekeeping procedures, safety guidelines, and hygiene standards at all times.
- Properly use, clean, and maintain housekeeping equipment, tools, and cleaning supplies.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of housekeeping carts, storage areas, and assigned work areas.
- Coordinate with the Housekeeping Supervisor and other hotel departments to ensure timely preparation of guest rooms.
- Handle guest belongings and hotel property with care while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
- Perform other housekeeping-related duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.
